Take a sneaky peek at this lovely 300 acre of agarwood plantation or gaharu trees which is also part of Kinta Valley Geopark. Take a tour by van to its viewing stage in order to see amazing vista from the hilltop. To make your visit a lifetime of memories, grab the opportunity to hug the tree at Hugging Park and chill yourself at rainbow staircase at Lover’s Park.

Not to mention, try eating gaharu ice-cream which is made from 100 percent natural ingredients before wrapping up your visit by snapping some photos at the so-called Great Wall of this Gaharu Tea Valley (main entrance) which is inspired by the Great Wall of China.

On the other hand, you may also try gaharu tea sold at the gift shop as it is said to improve good sleep, flatulence as well as maintaining blood pressure for the long term consumption. HOGA stands for holistic gaharu and therefore it means the whole plantation is kept as chemical free as possible.

Gopeng Glamping Park

Bagas Zakariah

If you are not charmed by the amazing glamping experience, why not trying something unique that sort of farm stay in the village setting, within five acre of durian orchard to be exact.  Affectionately known as Bagas Zakariah, this new attraction located only nine miles from Tempurung Cave in Kampung Lawan Kuda, Gopeng.

There are three traditional houses that have been sympathetically renovated, retaining many of their original features. From the 100 year-old Rumah Kuning to Rumah Lenggong and Rumah Lawan Kuda, these lodgings surprisingly equipped with modern amenities including hot water, barbecue areas and WiFi facilities.

Bagas means a home in Mandailing dialect while Zakariah is the name of the owner’s grandfather. A meandering stream across this orchard sets a perfect atmosphere for a serene contemplation or maybe evoking happy memories of your childhood.
